The June 2013 presidential special election was the first presidential election. Nightgaladeld had received the office of president by vote of the three other founders of the United States, NCISrox, Baxterknite, and Izaak136.<ref>[https://archive.froast.io/forum/124574789 Izaak136's History of the United States.]</ref> Moolah60 had already made a name for himself in the public eye, as he was one of the main developers of Washington, D.C. and due to his close relationship with the Founder and President Nightgaladeld, serving as his White House Chief of Staff. Nightgaladeld decided to run on Moolah60's ticket as [[Vice President of the United States|vice president]].<ref name=":0" />

Moolah60 ran on a platform of anti-corruption, anti-admin abuse, and incentivizing business. He also was staunchly against the "founder" rank within the group itself, a precursor to [[United States Clan Management|Clan Management]].
