[[teasoups]] announced her candidacy to unseat incumbent President [[GeorgeGodsent]] almost immediately after she had returned from a 4-year break from Discord. Her campaign ran on an anti-corruption platform, basing it around the controversies regarding GeorgeGodsent's presidency and staff. By July 5, every third party campaign had been suspended and merged with the Soups campaign.

On July 16, 2024, teasoups was pronounced as the victor of the election, defeating GeorgeGodsent by a narrow 1.13%.

It was her second major act as President after the ending of the Ridgeway war.
