The United States Department of Homeland and Security (DHS), formerly the Department of Homeland and Internal Security, and often referred to as the Department of Homeland Security is the U.S. federal executive department responsible for public security, roughly comparable to the interior or home ministries of other countries. Its stated missions involve anti-terrorism, border security, immigration and customs, cyber security, and disaster prevention and management.
The Department of Homeland Security is led by the Secretary of Homeland Security, who reports directly to the president of the United States and is a member of his Cabinet. The current Secretary is akacoolguy96, who was appointed by President TacticalRock101 on October 30, 2022 and confirmed by the Senate on November 3, 2022.
