Marinio served as the third president of the United States from August 27, 2013 to December 30, 2013. Marinio, a Republican, assumed the presidency after defeating Brian987987, also a Republican, in the August 2012 presidential special election. Marinio served over a divided government, with the House of Representatives being controlled by the Republicans but the Senate being controlled by the Democrats. Marinio did not serve his full term, as he was impeached, convicted, and removed from office on December 30, 2013.

Due to Vice President Lumidas going inactive, the Speaker of the House at the time, Aerium, was made acting Vice President from October 10, 2013 to November 4, 2013. He was never confirmed by Congress, nor was this ever recognized by most of the government by anything more than honorary.

Election of August 2013

Marinio ran in the 2013 election as a Republican, the first presidential election held after Nightgaladeld took control of the group back from Moolah60. While Marinio was directly responsible for giving Moolah60 the group, he did it on the orders of Nightgaladeld who wanted Moolahg0 to hold the group until he regained control of his account. Marinio remained in the group during Moolah60’s coup, but did not directly support him.

As soon as he retook the group, Nightgaladeld ordered a new presidential election to be held to replace Moolah60. Marinio, then the Attorney General, announced his candidacy on August 15, 2013 with former director of the National Security Agency and National Security Advisor, Lumidas, as his Vice Presidential candidate. Their platform was based on stabilizing the government from the coup, civil service reform, reform of the state system, and enforcement of the Bill of Rights.

Nightgaladeld opened voting for the election on August 25, 2013 in a public forum post for the sake of transparency, and on August 26, 2013, Marinio was declared the winner, with 163, 64.6% of the vote. The second place candidate, Brian987987, had 100 votes less with only 63 votes or 25%, losing by over 38 points.

Marinio was sworn in as president of the United States and Lumidas as vice president on the same day by the Founder of the group, Nightgaladeld, himself.

Domestic affairs

Much of Marinio’s domestic policy focused on reform of the United States civil service, mostly focused on creating academies operated by the Department of Education to train employees of the federal government. Marinio also focused on increasing the role the private sector played in the United States, and encouraging the development of businesses.

Department reform

The largest part of Marinio’s domestic agenda was his executive department reform, which would have made it so anyone looking to get a job would have to go through a short training course by the Department of Education before applying to an agency. It also would have given federal executive departments a more regulatory and oversight role, with day-to-day operations being the jobs of the individual agencies under the departments.

The reforms were meant to cut down on abuse by the police and the number of false arrests made in Washington, D.C. by untrained officers and to reduce the number of random hires into departments and agencies to boost numbers. It also would have standardized the ranks of every department and agency within the United States federal government.

On November 4, 2013, the Clan Management of the United States stated that it would not implement the proposed department reforms by Marinio, on account of the reforms possibly hurting activity within Washington, D.C.. Marinio re-proposed the bill later on, removing the Department of Education's role in schooling, instead mandating that agencies would create their own academies, as well as removing the Secret Police from the bill, due to its widespread unpopularity and unconstitutionality.

Police abuse crackdown

Another one of the main focuses of Marinio’s administration was combating police abuse within the United States. Outside of just the department reforms, Marinio focused on adding more ways to dispute false arrests from law enforcement officers, including attempting to add security cameras to D.C. which would record arrests and expanding the powers of the Judiciary to take appeals for and overturn arrests. Marinio also called for Wall Street to be removed from Washington, D.C. and New York City due to frequent misuse of tools.

Removal of Zeyad567 as Secretary of Defense

On September 14, 2013, Marinio announced the removal of Zeyad467 as Secretary of Defense, replacing him with LordDeathTheReaper, due to Zeyad567 allegedly committing treason against the United States by holding seats in Congress with alternate accounts and withholding vital information from the president about an admin attack on the United States Military by Aslum.

Zeyad567 responded by claiming he was banned when the admin attack occurred and could not have done anything, and that LordDeathTheReaper knew about the attack but also did nothing to prevent it. He went on to further claim that OrbitalShock and Ethancomputermad had hacked Aslum and puppeted his account to commit the admin attack. He also went after LordDeathTheReaper for supporting Moolah60 and Gmf34, due to his history in Gmf34’s United States Military. He also stated that he only had one alt in Congress and that Marinio and Lumidas both support Moolah60, due to Marinio giving Moolah60 the group and a testimony by SPIKERICCI.

Marinio refuted Zeyad567’s claims in a public forum post by stating he, Lumidas, and LordDeathTheReaper did not support Moolah60, and that their allegiance was solely to the United States, regardless of who owned it. He also said SPIKERICCI was a known liar and his testimony could not be trusted. Marinio later ended up reappointing Zeyad567 as Secretary of Defense following LordDeathTheReaper's resignation.

Business reform

On December 2, 2013, Marinio issued his first and only executive order, a reform on the United States recognition of privately owned businesses. The order stipulated that small businesses, any business with less than 150 members, would be allowed to advertise on the group wall once per wall page and as much as it wanted in Washington, D.C. unless advertising required the use of restricted tools, such as the police radio. The order also stipulated that public companies would be any business with 150 or more members, that it may be given a building in Washington, D.C., and that company leadership could not endorse political candidates to prevent corruption.

Foreign affairs

Cuba

Around September 13, 2013, Nightgaladeld, the founder and owner of the United States gained control of the nation of Republic of Cuba, formerly owned by RobinCaudillo, after he abandoned it. Following this, Nightgaladeld annexed Cuba as part of the United States, to which Marininio responded by appointing the President of Cuba, Bencoolkid, as Secretary of Commonwealths of the United States, an opening a public vote for Cubans to decide on the future political status of their nation under the United States, whether it wanted to remain as a territory, become a commonwealth, or become a state. Marinio changed his stance several days later, after understanding that Nightgaladeld essentially gained control of Cuba the same way that Moolah60 gained control of the United States, with the owner being hacked and leaving the group then having an opportune person take control and refuse to give it back to the rightful owner, stating that he and his administration had no interest in Cuba and that it should be returned to Caudillo or Bencoolkid.

U.S.-U.K. war

On September 14, 2013, the United States went to war against the United Kingdom following the United Kingdom repeatedly raiding Washington, D.C. and having one of their spies, Aslum, admin abuse the United States Military (resulting in the removal of the Secretary of Defense, Zeyad567), following a near unanimous vote by Congress. Speaker of the House Gwope issued the initial declaration of war. On October 12, 2013, Bencoolkid announced that the Republic of Cuba would be joining the war and pledged the nation's support to the United States. By October 16, 2013, the Japanese Resistance, Canada, and Switzerland had joined the United States and Cuba in the Strategic Defense Coalition, and the Ukrainian Republic, Pakistan, Italy, and Australia had joined the United Kingdom in the European Invasion Forces.

Three Medals of Honor were awarded in this war, one to Captain WandaCU of the United States Army on October 2, 2013, during a raid on the United Kingdom for saving the life of Secretary of Defense LordDeathTheReaper, the second was awarded to Corporal Tearfulroblox969 of the United States Marine Corps on October 6, 2013, for fighting off a regiment of British Royal Marine Commandos and saving the life of Commandant of the Marine Corps MROB123, and the third was awarded to Lieutenant General Brycy of the United States Army on October 12, 2013 for singlehandedly downing five British soldiers and capturing the British Fort Cottingham for the United States.

It is unknown when the war ended or who won it. This is regarded as the first official war between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Impeachment

On December 30, 2013, Jason_Powell was removed as Director of the United States Marshal Service by Marinio. In retaliation, he published a series of accusations against the President, alleging that he had been removing possible political opponents from the executive branch, leaking that the White House Staff will be undergoing major reforms, that the United States will be going to war, and that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Kingterry123, would be removed for being a political opponent of Marinio.

Marinio responded to the allegations levied by Powell in a public statement, claiming that he would not fire political opponents for running against him unless he was re-elected and they lost, that the Joint Chiefs of Staff wanted Kingterry123 removed from office, and that the alleged White House Staff reforms were simply his federal department reforms that he had been proposing throughout his whole term.

Later that same day, Republican Congressman AlexRavenov0512 and Tea Party Congressman Grapejumbo123, along with several other Republican members of Congress, introduced articles of impeachment against Marinio on charges of high crimes and misdemeanors, citing Marinio creating a Constitution without consent of Congress, bypassing Senate confirmation for nominees, admin abusing within Washington, D.C., keeping information from Congress and the public (directly citing Jason_Powell's post), threatening government officials, and asking for indecent and obscene photos of former General and Senator WandaCU in exchange for government positions.

The articles passed, and on the same night, December 30, 2013, Marinio was convicted in a trial by the Senate and removed from office. His Vice President, Lumidas, was sworn in as the fourth president of the United States later that night. Marinio posted a statement that he would run for re-election in February of 2014, and that he would not dispute the legality of the trial even though the Chief Justice of the United States was not present, as required by the Constitution of the United States.

On January 1, 2014, Marinio announced his candidacy for the February 2014 Presidential election, with Lumidas as his running mate again, running on essentially the exact same platform he did for his first term. He also attempted to dispute the legality of the impeachment trial due to the Chief Justice of the United States not being present, but nothing came of it.
