The 89th United States Congress is the current meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, composed of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. It convened in Washington, D.C., on August 18. 2022, and does not currently have a scheduled conclusion date.

The first session lasted from the election of the new Congress on August 28, 2022, until the House special election on November 17, 2022. The second session started on November 17, 2022 and is still ongoing.

Since political parties have been banned by the United States Clan Management, no party controls either the Senate nor the House of Representatives, with all members of Congress being independent politicians.
