Marinio ran in the 2013 election as a Republican, the first presidential election held after Nightgaladeld took control of the group back from Moolah60. While Marinio was directly responsible for giving Moolah60 the group, he did it on the orders of Nightgaladeld who wanted Moolahg0 to hold the group until he regained control of his account. As soon as he retook the group, Nightgaladeld ordered a new presidential election to be held to replace Moolah60. Marinio, then the Attorney General, announced his candidacy on August 15, 2013 with former director of the National Security Agency and National Security Advisor, Lumidas, as his [[Vice President of the United States|Vice Presidential]] candidate.
