The July 2014 United States presidential election was the fourth presidential election. The election saw former President Lumidas running with incumbent President Zeyad567 as his vice presidential candidate. Running on a Republican ticket, Lumidas and Zeyad faced no opposition from the Democratic Party, instead their only opposition from fellow Republican and former president and incumbent Congressman and Speaker of the House Marinio, running with Senator Smoothie71 as his vice presidential candidate. Midway through the election, Marinio and Smoothie71 merged their campaign with Lumidas and Zeyad567’s campaign, ensuring Lumidas an unopposed victory.
Background[edit | edit source]
Prior to this election, three of the four main candidates on each ticket, Lumidas, Zeyad567, and Marinio, had already served as president of the United States, Senator Smoothie71 being the only one who hadn’t. Regardless of which candidate won the election, it would be the fourth presidential term in a row with one of the three in office.
