FTN Media Group (commonly known as FTN News or simply FTN), is a news company owned by GreatJakers1113.

History

A Split from FOX

Before FTN's founding, GreatJakers1113 worked at a variety of news groups owned by MichaelRSmith, who was at the time the most popular news personality in NUSA. However, activity started to decline, and by this point, Michael's then-current news organization, FOX News, split into two. Both groups had very distinct operations and personalities.

It was at this time that Jake asked one of his former colleagues, Jonofdoom, to help fully start up his network, the Federal Television Network. Jonofdoom was working at one of the new FOX News groups, assisting with production and set design. The two built a series of nearly identical buildings and studios for the proposed programming to air on the network. Only one of those programs, the flagship FTN News Tonight, actually aired.

The network went on air January 1, 2021, with a series of tests, which simply contained the Special Report holding slide set to The Mission: The Pulse of Events by John Williams. The first news broadcast was aired on January 2, 2021, with coverage and commentary of a proposal by then President Hopp_Fr to legalize robbery in small servers. It was hosted by Jake.
