The United States Department of Commerce and Labor (DOCAL) is an executive department of the U.S. federal government concerned with creating the conditions for economic growth and opportunity as well as administration of federal laws governing occupational safety and health, wage and hour standards, unemployment benefits, and reemployment services. It is headed by the Secretary of Commerce and Labor, who reports directly to the president of the United States and is a member of the president's Cabinet. TacticalOwen is the current Secretary of Commerce and Labor, after being appointed by President TacticalRock101 on January 18, 2023.

History

The Department of Commerce and Labor was formed in 2016, following the passage of the Commerce & Labor Act, which combined the Departments of Commerce and Labor into one single executive department.[1]
