KooIthing, formerly known as MightyLuccas, is a retired U.S. politician and diplomat. He served as the 68th Secretary of State and Senate Majority Leader in the United States Senate. Over his political career he served 5 Senate terms and presented and co-sponsored more than a dozen bills. As Secretary of State he oversaw the US-Russia War and finalized the Anglo-American Treaty in LUN. Serving briefly as the Director of the Federal Protective Service he maintained activity in the Agency during his short tenure, relaunched the HRP and oversaw the last period of FPS' Congressional protective duties.

Political Career

U.S. Senate

MightyLuccas entered the Senate in 2018 and was a very bipartisan member, working in tandem with his majority caucus and the minority caucus. He would maintain close connections with party leadership and notable figures, securing the position of Senate Majority Whip shortly after. He was so well liked by his peers despite his freshman status that was he was elected to serve as Senate Majority Leader twice. Most notably he formed close personal relationships with President Pro Tempore Sam4219 and future President Bakedgoods. During his 2020 term he was elected Senate Minority Leader representing the Libertarian Senate caucus, a party which he co-founded with ThePelicanator, and the independent Senators who refused to join the Constitutionalists. He caucused independent after the dissolution of the Libertarian party, later resigning to become the Deputy Director of the Federal Protective Service.

Senate Majority Leader

As Senate Majority Leader he represented the Republican and later the Democratic caucus, where he used his connections to whip bills and worked with Presidents Lordsights and Fr0sty_TheSnowman to pass legislation and nominations important to their administration.

Director of FPS

Following his confirmation as Deputy Director of the Federal Protective Service, he was nominated for Director after Autoload's resignation. During his term he relaunched the HRP, enacted a few policies, maintained an active Board of Directors and worked in tandem with the Department of Homeland Security administration who were enthusiastic about his abilities.

Secretary of State

After being elected to the Senate in 2021, kooIthing was nominated to the position of Secretary of State, following President-elect LeoVinick's inauguration. In his first days he launched the Ambassadorship program which sought to employ civilians in a future line of diplomacy. The program gave existing ambassadors leadership roles over small staff teams to be trained for future ambassadorships and to aid ambassadors in carrying out their duties. He also swiftly got the Anglo-American treaty between the United Kingdom and United States signed after diplomatic talks had been stalled for weeks, securing a voting bloc, and establishing a worker's exchange between the US and UK's respective employment and labor departments.

He later oversaw the US-Russia war though his abilities as Secretary of State were famously bogged down by Secretary of Defense SolarGeneral. Who intercepted the Secretary's diplomats, conducted operations without his knowing, and strong armed President Vinick into backing out of the war because of the Army's inability. SolarGeneral later negotiated disastrous terms for the war's end because Secretary thing had been purposely left out of negotiations. As Solar pivoted for a way to cover up the poor policies and leadership plaguing the United States Military as a result of his command. SolarGeneral was later terminated by President Soul because of his incompetence which plagued intelligence operations, the war effort and international diplomacy.

Following President Soul's impeachment, Secretary thing resigned, preferring to live as a private citizen following many international situations, visits and extensive reform of the Department of State and its child agency, the Diplomatic Security Service. Where the Secretary masterfully navigated intelligence leaks out of DSS, pinned down the culprit and rightfully terminated DSS Director Allstar123. Because of Secretary thing's packed schedule as Secretary of State, DSS were always ready for deployment and maintained healthy activity for the various ceremonies and visits enacted by the Secretary, which in contrast with the agency's previous performance showed promise. On October 4th 2020, he handed in his resignation to President Cyxlinder.
