AlexJCabot (joined August 26, 2018 and previously known as 'aurorajake09') is an American politician, jurist, diplomat and attorney currently serving as the 62nd Vice President of the United States since July 22nd, 2024[1]. He is best known for his previous service as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States under the judicial pseudonym 'Alito, J.' and for his work as the 42nd Attorney General of the United States. Cabot ran one of the closest presidential campaigns in NUSA history eventually losing to rival LeoVinick in a margin of 16 votes, he was later banned for a period of two years for inciting an insurrection and riot at the White House claiming the election was 'rigged'.
Cabot was born and raised in the Great State of South Carolina before later representing the state in the United States Senate and House of Representatives in a range of leadership positions. Cabot began his career as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for Nevada and quickly rose the ranks in the Department of Justice before joining the Las Vegas District Attorney's Office. Following his distinguished career as a federal prosecutor and city prosecutor in Nevada he was nominated and confirmed to the role of District Attorney for the District of Columbia.
He would go on to be appointed to the role seven times eventually authoring legislation and changing the name of the office from D.C. District Attorney to the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia where he served as the first D.C. Attorney General. Cabot's influence in municipal government is best seen in his creation and maintenance of the final D.C. Criminal Code.
Cabot is one of a few individuals to have held the Chief Judgeships both the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals before his appointment to the Supreme Court. Cabot's influence in legal spheres extended into political life with him becoming a key Constitutionalist legal scholar and politician acting as the 'legal-arm' of the multiple political parties including the Constitutionalist Party and most recently the Reformist Party.
