These are the official rules and regulations for the National Wiki Archive. == General rules == # Providing ANY real life personal information of any member of the group, unless it is both relevant to the article AND made public by the person in question is strictly prohibited. # Inserting baseless allegations of real life crimes against anyone in this Wiki is strictly prohibited. # Making comments on any pages that are merely spam or that harass, defame or abuse any user is strictly prohibited. # Articles are to be written in a scientific or academic tone, free from as much bias as is possible, and should meet formatting guidelines. # Vandalizing a page or knowingly adding false information to a page is prohibited. # Creating new info boxes is prohibited. == Editing guidelines == === General editing guidelines === # All articles titles are to have boldface font applied to them the first time they appear in the body text of a wiki article, as well as any similar or second name to the article title. For an examples, see: United States, Las Vegas, or United States Federal Government. # All articles are to be written from the perspective of someone living in this hellscape of a world. Refrain from referencing real life people, events, or organizations unless absolutely necessary, so as not to muddle the history and lore. For example, do not say that the United States was founded by George Washington in 1776, instead say that the United States was founded by Nightgaladeld in 2012. ## In the same vein, when writing about cities within the United States, write as if they were actual cities first and Roblox games second. For example, see Washington, D.C.. # Refrain from profanity unless in a direct quotation. === Notability criteria === Do not create articles for anything that does not fit the notability criteria, as to keep the quality of articles high and the articles on the Wiki relevant. ==== Notability of organizations ==== The following organizations are considered notable: # All departments, agencies, companies, or government entities that have or have had a team at any of the official nUSA games (Boulder County, Colorado; Ridgeway County, State of Ridgeway; Washington, D.C. [v1, v2, v3, or v4); Las Vegas, Nevada; Los Angeles, California; and New York, New York). Examples include the Department of Justice, United States Secret Service, or Nevada Highway Patrol. # Any departments, agencies, companies, or government entities that did not have a team at any of the official nUSA games but were established by law in Congress. Examples include the Department of Veterans Affairs or United States Intelligence Community. ## These will always require a source from the Public Law Database. # Any foreign nation that has went to war or fought alongside the United States in a war. Examples include the Kingdom of Hawaii or the United Kingdom. ## All foreign nations are to include the owner's name so as not to confuse them with another group acting as the same country, unless they are considered to be one of the official nations recognized by this wiki. In that case, the articles name may be titled simply as the name of the nation (such as the United States), but should still include the name of the founder within the article. ## Foreign nations do not necessarily have to exist in real life to be given an article, as long as they have history with the United States. Examples include Ridgeway, the United Clan of Roblox, or Vortex Security. ==== Notability of people ==== The following people are considered notable: # All Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the United States; # All members and former members of United States Congress; # Anyone who has served in a position requiring confirmation by the United States Senate (e.g. cabinet officials, joint chiefs of staff members, federal judges, et cetera.); # All elected members of sub-federal offices (mayors, governors, city council members, et cetera.); # Anyone who has served in a position requiring confirmation by a city council or state legislature (e.g. police chiefs, district attorneys, et cetera); and # Anyone who has made a considerable and well-documented impact on the group. ANY ARTICLE ABOUT A PERSON, REGARDLESS ON IF THEY ARE STILL IN THE GROUP OR NOT, WILL STRICTLY REQUIRE CITATIONS TO PREVENT SLANDER.
