Dentsville is a town in Boulder County, Colorado. Dentsville is the second largest municipality in Boulder County, after Canton.

Dentsville was founded on November 26, 2022, upon the release of Boulder County, Colorado. The town was originally little more than a glorified truck stop, with a lack of local business and highway 36 bisecting the town into two halves. However, in June, 2023, Dentsville was rebuilt to have more local business and houses closer to town. Much of the older businesses, such as Bloxmart, were moved to the eastern edge of town.

Government[edit | edit source]

Like all municipalities in Boulder County, Dentsville has no municipal government, instead being under the jurisdiction of the Governor of Colorado and the Colorado General Assembly. The Colorado Governor's Mansion overlooks Dentsville from the western edge of town.

Old Dentsville

The Dentsville Police Department provides police services to the town, with its headquarters being located on the west end of Dentsville. The Boulder County Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services town, with its headquarters being located on Brookside Boulevard. The headquarters of the Boulder County Transit Authority is also located within Dentsville, as well as the headquarters of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, albeit outside of the town proper.

Geography[edit | edit source]

The town is located on Lake Colorado, one of the six Great Lakes in the United States. The neighborhood of Oakland Park is not technically part of Dentsville, however many of Dentsville's residents live in the neighborhood.
