Robert "Bob" Fogarty (joined April 21st, 2014) is an American politician, diplomat, and attorney who currently serves as an Associate Justice on the United States Supreme Court and formerly as the 53rd Attorney General of the United States. He is also the 2nd Director of the United States Federal Bar Association. Previously affiliated with the Constitutionalist Party, Fogarty previously served as a United States Senator in 2022.

Born and raised in the small town of Labette, Kansas, Fogarty relocated to the District of Columbia upon reaching adulthood. There, he pursued a career in law and became an attorney-at-law at the District of Columbia Attorney General's Office. In late 2019, he was appointed as the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division. His exceptional legal skills and dedication to public service led to his subsequent appointment as the Deputy Attorney General under President TacticalRock101, serving alongside the former Chief Justice of the United States, RummyLeroux, who later became the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

Fogarty's rise to prominence was characterized by his relatively low profile outside of the legal community. However, his commitment to upholding the principles of justice and his contributions to the field of law propelled him into the national spotlight. His work as Deputy Attorney General during his tenure under President TacticalRock101 demonstrated his strong legal acumen and led to his nomination to serve as the 53rd United States Attorney General, overseeing the U.S. Department of Justice.

Additionally, Fogarty was appointed in March of 2023 by the United States Supreme Court to succeed Stickza as the Director of the United States Federal Bar Association. He served in the position until August of 2023. At this time, Fogarty is currently nUSA blacklisted.

Attorney General of the United States (Dec. 2022 - July 2023)

Shortly after being elected President of the United States for a second time, TacticalRock101 had appointed Fogarty to serve as the Associate Attorney General under Attorney General RummyLeroux. Fogarty, had served in the role for one month shortly before growing to the role of Deputy Attorney General, where he worked closely with Leroux to prepare for the imminent release of Boulder County, Colorado, the newest addition to the community that would open up a new U.S. District Court and an increase in activity for the legal community, including by clarifying the role of the Justice Department.

In late Janurary of 2023, Leroux retired as Attorney General to be nominated as the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. To succeed Leroux, President TacticalRock101 nominated Fogarty to serve as Attorney General. In Janurary, after over two weeks in acting capacity, Fogarty was confirmed unanimously by the Senate to serve in the role in official capacity.

Fogarty was the fifth-longest consecutive serving Attorney General in the history of the United States, serving for a total of eight months.

Justice Department Attorney Training Program (ATP)

On the day of his confirmation to officially take office, Fogarty released a memorandum entitled 'Establishment of the Attorney Training Program (ATP)' in which he established a new program in the U.S. Department of Justice to train prospective attorneys the basics and fundamental aspects of the criminal justice system, appellate advocacy, and other techniques and strategies to better prepare them for the release of the Federal Bar Examination, which would require attorneys to become certified to practice law in federal courts in Washington D.C. and the State of Colorado.

The program, which trained four attorneys at a time during a period when the legal community was on the brink of zero activity, faced limited success. However, despite its modest achievements, Fogarty has referred to the program as "[...] one of my most cherished accomplishments during my time at the D.O.J.."

The memorandum that had initially established the program was rescinded by Attorney General Jonofdoom in August 2023.

Director of the Federal Bar Association (Mar. 2023 - Aug. 2023)

In the middle of February 2023, tensions flared between the U.S. Department of Justice, of which Fogarty had been leading as Attorney General, and the Federal Bar Association due to concerns about the Director of the F.B.A., Stickza, who had become unresponsive and postponed the release of the Federal Bar Examination, originally scheduled for early February 2023.

Due to these tensions, Fogarty reportedly initiated communication with the U.S. Supreme Court, advocating for substantial changes and reforms within the Bar Association. In response, the Supreme Court concurred with these demands. On March 1, 2023, the United States Supreme Court relieved Stickza of his responsibilities as the Director of the Federal Bar Association. Acknowledging his "unwavering commitment to the law," the Court appointed Fogarty as the Second Director of the Federal Bar Association. This decision was made with the aim of not only expediting the release of the examination but also reinvigorating the legal community's waning activity.

Release of the Federal Bar Examination

Upon his appointment to the Federal Bar Association, Fogarty quickly commenced collaboration with the Associate Justice for Bar Oversight, RummyLeroux, as well as officials from the U.S. Department of Justice. Their primary goal was to design an examination that could comprehensively evaluate the legal capabilities and understanding of legal theory for all prospective attorneys, irrespective of their experience, of which was criticized by multiple members of the community due to its difficult nature. This new examination was divided into three sections: (1) a multiple-choice section, (2) a short-response section, and (3) an essay response section.

The initial examination was released on June 9, 2023, nearly three months after Fogarty assumed his role following the Supreme Court's appointment.

During Fogarty's tenure as Director of the Federal Bar Association, the Federal Bar Examination certified a total of forty-five new attorneys, granting them the right to practice law within the District of Colorado and the District of Columbia.

Reorganization of the Association

During his tenure as Director of the Federal Bar Association, Fogarty undertook a significant effort to revamp the association's mission, objectives, and divisions. Remarkably, his predecessor, Stickza, failed to furnish Fogarty with any of the documents or records pertaining to the work he had accomplished prior to Fogarty's assumption of the Director role. Consequently, Fogarty had to begin the reorganization process from the ground up.

Some of his accomplishments in reorganizing the association included:

• Establishing a comprehensive organizational structure that clearly defined the roles and responsibilities of every officer within the association.
• Formulating an attorney ethics code that notably included a provision banning the submission of briefs and participation in legal proceedings by OpenAI and other artificial intelligence software, ensuring human oversight and accountability.
• Creating a judges' code of ethics to serve as a guiding framework for judges, encouraging them to adhere to "ethical behavior." This code of ethics fostered a direct, coordinated relationship with the U.S. Congress, which held the authority to take action against judges who violated the established ethical standards.

Retirement

On August 9, 2023, Fogarty announced his retirement from the Federal Bar Association after serving for five months as the Director. Fogarty recommended five individuals to succeed him. Some of these individuals included Jonofdoom, Moneymack9999, JamesMontagu, and others who were not publicized.

Candidacy for Governor of Colorado (Aug. 2023)

In August 2023, Fogarty declared his candidacy for the position of Colorado's first Governor. The election race, in which he competed against TimCulture, was anticipated to be fiercely contested.  Pre-election polling consistently indicated that Fogarty held a significant lead over TimCulture for a substantial portion of the campaign.

Fogarty had received endorsements from notable individuals, including President UnitedGPT, former President TacticalRock101, RummyLeroux, JamesMontagu, and other prominent figures within the nUSA community.

Just days before Election Day, the polls showed that Fogarty had fallen 9% behind TimCulture. On the actual Election Day, Fogarty ultimately lost the election, garnering thirty-nine percent of the vote, while TimCulture secured sixty-one percent of the votes.

Associate Justice on the United States Supreme Court (Oct. 2023 - Present)

On October 7, 2023, Fogarty was nominated by President UnitedGPT to serve as an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States to succeed retiring Justice RummyLeroux. UnitedGPT was quoted by saying that Fogarty "has served our community professionally for the past few years, and is a great legal mind" as the reasoning for the nomination.

Fogarty's nomination was passed by the Senate unanimously. He began his service on October 25, 2023 where he currently remains.

Fogarty chose to go by the surname of "Justice Brandeis" to commemorate the life and service of in-real-life former Associate Justice of the United States, Louis Brandeis. Fogarty cited Brandeis' commitment to protecting the civil liberties of Americans and Brandeis' zealous career as one of the foremost Jewish-American trailblazers.

Publication of Oral Argument

In November 2023, Fogarty proposed a motion to include Rule XXIII in the Supreme Court Rules, which would enable the public to view all oral arguments. This rule was unanimously approved by the Court, marking a historic moment as it was the first time in the community's history that the United States Supreme Court made all oral arguments accessible to the public.
