The United States of America (U.S.A. or USA), officially Nightgaladeld's United States of America (N.U.S.A., NUSA, or nUSA), commonly referred to as the United States (U.S. or US) or as simply America is a country located on the continent of North America.

History[edit | edit source]

The original five founders of the United States, Nightgaladeld, Izaak136, NCISrox, Baxterknite, and Tatoodragon first met each other in organization "Ro-Force", where they served together before splitting up and going their separate ways. Nightgaladeld later got the five men together again in the nation known as TheFoundingFathers's United States of America.[1] The five did not agree with how TheFoundingFathers was running his United States and believed they could do better, and created their own.[2]

The United States was first created on November 26, 2012 by Nightgaladeld, after he bought the group.[3] The nation was not officially founded until a month later, December 26, 2012, when the Constitution was put into effect and Nightgaladeld was sworn in as the first president of the United States.

Government and politics[edit | edit source]

Government[edit | edit source]

The United States is a federal republic comprised of 49 states, a federal district, and several overseas territories. It is a federal republic and a representative democracy "in which majority rule is tempered by minority rights protected by law." Citizens of the United States are subject to two levels of government: federal and local. he government is regulated by a system of checks and balances defined by the U.S. Constitution, which serves as the country's supreme legal document. The Constitution has been amended 35 times; the first ten amendments (Bill of Rights) and the Fourteenth Amendment form the central basis of Americans' individual rights. All laws and governmental procedures are subject to judicial review, and any law can be voided if the courts determine that it violates the Constitution.

The federal government comprises of four branches:

  • Legislative: The bicameral Congress, made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives, makes federal law, declares war, approves treaties, has the power of the purse, and has the power of impeachment, by which it can remove sitting members of the federal government.
  • Executive: The president is the commander-in-chief of the military, can veto legislative bills before they become law (subject to congressional override), and appoints the members of the Cabinet (subject to Senate approval) and other officers, who administer and enforce federal laws and policies.
  • Judicial: The Supreme Court and lower federal courts, whose judges are appointed by the president with Senate approval, interpret laws and overturn those they find unconstitutional.
  • Group Management (formerly referred to as 'Clan Management'): The Group Management and its agents are responsible for the development of the nation's cities and hold the power to create the group's official rules and policies and to blacklist members of the United States who violate those official rules and policies.
