The presidency of Nightgaladeld began on December 26, 2012 with the founding of the United States and ended on June 9, 2013. Nightgaladeld was not elected due to the fact that he founded and held the United States, instead he was appointed by concurrence of the three other founders, NCISrox, Baxterknight, and Izaak136.[1] He chose to retire after just six months in office, and was succeeded by Moolah60. Nightgaladeld presided over the establishment of the federal government and appointed the first members of every Cabinet post as well as the first members of the federal judiciary. Nightgaladeld also built the first Washington, D.C., replacing the one he had previously stolen from Sgccode9.[2] Despite being the first president of the United States, Nightgaladeld's term was not marked with any real monumental achievements.

Creation of a permanent U.S. capital[edit | edit source]
The original United States capital, Washington, D.C., was stolen from TheFoundingFather's United States of America by Nightgaladeld, and was initially used by the United States, however Sgcode9, the main builder of TheFoundingFather's Washington, D.C., had Nightgaladed's stolen copy taken down, requiring him to create a new one. Initially, the plan was to steal the map built by Gmf34 for his United States of America Group, and have Baxterknight rescript, but nobody liked the idea of taking Gmf34's map.[1] On January 20, 2013, Nightgaladeld had announced that he created his own Washington, D.C., which was used as the new permanent U.S. capital.[2] Nightgaladeld's Washington, D.C. served as the capital of the United States until Nightgaladeld retired as Founder on April 30, 2017 and was superseded by the New Washington, D.C. on December 1, 2017.[3]
Despite the name, Nightgaladeld did not actually build Washington, D.C., fellow founding father, Speaker of the House, and Secretary of State, NCISrox, did the actual building and scripting of the city.[1]
Judicial appointments[edit | edit source]
Nightgaladeld appointed the first justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, however only two of his nominees are known to this day, the first Chief Justice of the United States, C8K,[4] and Associate Justice Purgesabre.[5]

U.S.-Team Domino war[edit | edit source]
Early on February 3, 2013, President Nightgaladeld posted to the Roblox Forums that the United States was looking for an enemy to go to war with, to use the new Fort McClellan raid map.[6][7] Fifteen hours later, at 3:03p.m. Eastern Standard Time, President Nightgaladeld announced that the United States was at a state of war with Team Domino, and that he had agreed to all war terms.[8] No side ever made a formal announcement after the conclusion of the first raid, so the outcome is unknown.

Relations with Gmf34's United States[edit | edit source]
President Nightgaladeld and Secretaries of State Izaak136, GuanGuapo, and Amashiro had no formal diplomatic relations with Gmf34's United States, and the informal relations were often marked with very high tension, with Gmf34's Military raiding Fort McClellan and the United States often responding by publicly taunting Gmf34 and the raiders after any raid, regardless of victory or loss.[9][10]
Relations with Vortex Security[edit | edit source]
Formal diplomatic relations with Vortex Security were established on March 3, 2013, after President Nightgaladeld struck a deal with the Kytheriian Emperor, Mr Qweeba.[11] Nightgaladeld further stated that the United States Army would always defend Vortex Security.[12] Relations were further improved due to Emperor Mr Qweeba and the group's second-in-command, General Imnotaguestimagirl being made Director and Deputy Director, respectively, of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The United States under President Nightgaladeld established formal diplomatic relations with multiple other Ro-clans, including Vortex Special Ops, Lortex Security, and the Nightfall Clan.[13]
