UnitedGPT's tenure as the 48th president of the United States began with his inauguration on July 15, 2023, and ended on December 10, 2023. UnitedGPT had been an influential figure in the United States prior to his election, serving as a United State Senator, among other positions. UnitedGPT took office following the end of TacticalRock101's term, following his victory over Chief_Vinexy in the July 2023 special presidential election. His term ended following the inauguration of Akacoolguy96 on December 10, 2023.

2023 July special election

With elections being frozen since January of 2022, and only one special presidential election being held in October of 2022, the 2023 July election was the first presidential election held in nine months. UnitedGPT, who joined nUSA back in 2013, had previously served in many different positions of government, including as a district court judge and as the United States Solicitor General under President LeoVinick, had previously discussed the idea of running for president of the United States, however he did not formally announce his candidacy until June 5, 2023.

UnitedGPT was originally running with Attorney General BobFogarty as his vice presidential candidate. The two were running against incumbent Vice President GameLab2017, who was seeking to succeed President TacticalRock101, whom he had served as Vice President to for his entire term. They were also running against former acting Attorney General Chief_Vinexy, who had U.S. Representative Zinpac as his vice presidential candidate. Former White House Chief of Staff Cherrydearest also entered the race with former Senator Mefus as her vice presidential candidate, but her campaign was not viewed as a major threat to any of the frontrunners.

On June 12, 2023, BobFogarty withdrew as vice presidential candidate and GameLab2017 was selected as UnitedGPT's new vice presidential candidate, merging his campaign into UnitedGPT's. The received an endorsement from incumbent President TacticalRock101 on June 15.

On June 20, 2023, The Federal Elections Commission Administrator, Goleros, issued a statement disqualifying UnitedGPT from the election due to violations of both federal law and FEC policy for promising campaign supporters and staff members jobs in his administration. United stated that he was innocent, but still suspended his campaign for six hours, until the FEC reversed their disqualification order after finding evidence that cleared United from responsibility. The FEC then disqualified GameLab2017 the next day for the same offense, before reversing their disqualification four days later.

United campaigned on increased Federal Government presence in Boulder County and to finally end the Inactivity Crisis. United was a frequent Boulder player, and advocated for people to play the game for activity, instead of boycotting the game as some hardline group members opposed to Boulder suggested. Further, United advocated for increased role in the United Nations and increased use of the State Department and the military.

The elections opened on July 4, 2023, in Canton and Dentsville, within Boulder County, Colorado. The voting closed on July 7, 2023. UnitedGPT won the election with 50% of the vote, Chief_Vinexy finished with 30%. The other 20% were split between the three other minor candidates. United gave his victory speech and began his presidential transition immediately.

UnitedGPT was sworn in as the Forty-Eighth President of the United States by Chief Justice Tony_Giordano at 6:28 p.m. on July 15, 2023, succeeding TacticalRock101. Vice President GameLab2017 was sworn in a few minutes earlier, at 6:27 p.m. by Chief Judge of the United States District Court and former Chief Justice RummyLeroux. In his inauguration statement, President United stated that his first act would be to appoint RummyLeroux to serve as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, following the vacancy created by Jonofdoom, who resigned to serve as United's Attorney General.
